What the ten checks are
Exclusions (rock, dewatering, permits, other trades). A variations clause — no written approval, no extra work. Stated assumptions (access, drawings, site conditions), so a variation is easy to prove later. Payment terms with a deposit and a late-payment consequence. GST shown clearly. A validity date, so old pricing can't be accepted in a dearer market. Quantities and a drawing reference, so "as per plans" means one specific set of plans. And an acceptance line — because a signed quote is a contract, and an unsigned one is a conversation.
